DiGrazia Vineyards
was founded in 1978 with a planting of a forty-five acre vineyard. The
winery was founded in 1984, with an initial release of four brands of
wine.
The
Wine:
DiGrazia Vineyards grows premium French Hybrid grape varieties exclusively.
These hardy vines are adapted to withstand New England’s often
severe winters. Grapes grown lead to a crisp, fruity, dry, semi-dry
and dessert wines of character.
The winery
makes a full range of estate bottled table wines from dry to sweet,
no sulfite wines, late harvest, ice wines, dessert wines, pumpkin wines,
white port and ruby port as well as Connecticut grown blueberry and
Connecticut grown pear dessert wines. Winemaker Paul DiGrazia has become
known for his unusual and innovative wine making flair.
The
Vineyards:
The winery features guided tours of the production area and bottling
facility. We feature special events at the winery year round. Group
tours are welcome by appointment.
