Margaret Ruggiero, chair of CT Wine Trail marketing committee and co-owner of Paradise Hills Vineyard, is optimistic about how well the Trail is being received thus far. “Everyone thinks of visits to vineyards in the warm of the summer sun or the colors of the fall harvest, but winter is also an excellent time to visit your local winery,” she explains. “It’s easy to picture — cozy fireplaces, good friends and a great selection of wines that warm the soul. From our frosted windows to inviting live music, winter is better with wine.”

Explore the Trail’s unique collection of wineries and vineyards statewide and enjoy award-winning wines.

Winter may be better with wine—but it’s even better with wine produced right here in CT.
