Traveling and experiencing new places is always fun and exciting, but there is a big downside when you are a pet owner. Leaving a four-legged friend who is part of the family behind can be heart-breaking, knowing you are bound to have a great time. Sometimes you don’t get to spend as long as you would like to somewhere because you must hurry home to care for your pet. Luckily, many of the locations on the Connecticut Wine Trail are pet-friendly!
The following locations invite you to bring your well-behaved pooches that are comfortable with crowds along to seasonal outdoor events:
- Chamard Vineyards
- Gouveia Vineyards
- Holmberg Orchards & Winery
- Hopkins Vineyard
- Jonathan Edwards Winery
- Land of Nod
- Maugle Sierra Vineyards
- Miranda Vineyard
- Paradise Hills Vineyard & Winery – follow their vineyard dog, Otis the Rhodesian Ridgeback, on Instagram! @paradisehillspup
- Preston Ridge Vineyard
- Priam Vineyards
- Rosedale Farms & Vineyard
- Sunset Meadow Vineyards – Churchill, SMV’s rescued Yellow Lab, is the inspiration for their Big Lab Cab wine, and also a ham on Facebook.
- White Silo Farm & Winery
For the specific “pets welcome” policy at each location, especially as we head indoors for fall and winter, we strongly encourage you to contact the wineries individually.
