Throughout the month of May, our vineyards burst into vibrant life, painting picturesque scenes across the rolling hills and valleys as rows of grapevines stretch out, adorned with tender breaking buds that hint at the fruitful harvest to come. Visitors take in the beauty and tranquility while sampling exquisite wines crafted with care at our member farm wineries. Yes, May on the Connecticut Wine Trail is a time to indulge the senses and toast to the splendor of Spring!

For a truly grape Mother’s Day, gather the fam and take Mom on a scenic winery tour and tasting. There’s no better way to enjoy the fresh air, relax, and reminisce – and remind her how much she is loved. Here’s a suggestion: pack a family picnic brunch and celebrate this special day at one of our spectacular farm vineyards!
National Wine Day – May 25th
Imagine – a national day just for us (and you)! May 25th is National Wine Day, when wine lovers pour a glass or two of their favorite red, white, sparkling, or rosé and celebrate with fellow enthusiasts everywhere. It’s also a great day to try a new variety and see what you’ve been missing!
…and that’s not all
May 25th also kicks off Memorial Day Weekend, the official start of summer. So, if you’re planning on hosting or attending a barbecue or get-together, why not elevate the festivities with a few bottles of delicious, locally produced wine? Your guests and friends will love it and love you for it. Btw, don’t forget to pick up a few bottles or cases for…other days!
